Responsibilities
Reporting to our Finance Operations Lead, you will:
- Handle SEIS/EIS statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage Companies House filings and related regulatory documentation
- Process refunds, review expenses, and handle invoicing
- Set up and manage nominee entities and manage subscriptions and billing
- Facilitate day-to-day accounting tasks, including reconciling invoices in Xero and preparing wire packs
- Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring accurate information flow
- Proactively identify any discrepancies or issues in financial documents, raising questions as needed

Your Experience
Must-Haves:
- Whether you're an experienced bookkeeper or administrator, we invite individuals with relevant expertise to apply
- This position is also well-suited for students, parents or carers who embody the essential qualities and are seeking a role with a degree of flexibility. (Please note that while flexibility is provided, meeting deadlines remains a key aspect of the role.)

Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience with financial processes or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with software like Xero, Excel, and Mail Merge
- Customer service experience, particularly in handling inquiries and communicating financial information
Working Hours
This is a part-time remote position with the following schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 15 Hours throughout the week between 09:00 - 18:00
This role requires a commitment of 15 hours per week, with flexibility for candidates needing specific times of the day to complete their work. These hours will need to be spread across the work week. There may be opportunities to increase hours based on business needs
Salary
The salary for this part-time role (15 hours per week) would be £7,500 - £11,250 annually, based on an FTE salary of £20,000 - £30,000

- Interview with Lucy, our Financial Operations Lead - Now that you're in the running, it's time to spend some time unpacking your experience with the hiring manager
- Challenge & In-depth Review with Lucy - By this stage, we believe you're pretty great, so we’ll share a task to assess how well you'd perform in the role
- Final Interview with Mary, our Co-CEO & Co-Founder - At this stage, we're genuinely excited and believe it's fitting for you to spend some time with one of the founders
Before each interview, we'll prepare you for what to expect, and regardless of the outcome, once you’re in our process, we'll provide detailed feedback within 24 hours of an interview. Our process typically takes two weeks, sometimes shorter, or perhaps a bit longer; we'll accommodate your availability and are happy to make any hiring adjustments along the way.
